How to Play Matatu Juu
The goal is to cash out before the matatu breaks down. The win is your stake multiplied by the coefficient at the moment you collect; anything still in play at the breakdown is lost. The steps below cover a full round.
-
Set your bet value
Bets run from 0.10 to 200. Use the "+" and "-" buttons, or type an exact amount into the input field.
Two betting panels run side by side, so two bets can play the same round with different stakes, different cash out targets and different autoplay settings — a short safe bet alongside a longer one.
-
Configure Auto Bet and stop limits
Each panel has an Auto Bet menu that commits the same stake every round. Set how many rounds to run, plus any profit or loss thresholds that should halt it. Automation can also be cancelled from the main controls at any time, including mid-round.
-
Place a bet and watch the matatu
With Auto Bet on, stakes are committed for you during the pre-round countdown. Otherwise press the green Start button before the countdown ends. A bet can be pulled while the countdown is still running.
The round begins, the matatu pulls away down the dirt road, and the multiplier climbs from ×1.00 toward its ×10,000 ceiling.
-
Cash out before the breakdown
The bet button turns green, reads Cash Out and shows a live win value. Press it to collect, and the amount lands in your balance immediately.
Rounds can end at ×1.00, before the multiplier has moved at all, which loses every bet committed to that round.
Game Features
- Dual bet panel
- Two bets run on the same round, configured independently — bet size, auto cash out target and automation are all set per panel.
- Auto Bet with stop limits
- Automation runs a set number of rounds and halts on a profit or loss threshold you nominate, rather than running until the balance is gone.
- Auto cash out
- A target coefficient can be set per panel, collecting on its own when the multiplier reaches it.
- Live chat
- Players in the lobby can chat once they have played at least one round.
- Disable animations
- The background and the minibus can both be switched off, cutting the load on slow devices and connections.
- Live leaderboard
- Other players' bets and cash outs appear in real time during the round.
- Round history
- Recent results are listed along the bottom of the game.
- Provably fair
- Every round can be verified with the in-game tool.
Inspired by the vibrant energy of the fast-paced commute, Matatu Juu is a dynamic crash game that challenges players to test their nerves against a rapidly rising multiplier. With its blend of strategic "cashout" mechanics and impressive win potential, it keeps players on the edge of their seats.

Matatu Juu FAQ
What is Matatu Juu?
Matatu Juu is a crash game from PopOK Gaming themed on Kenyan minibus taxis. A multiplier climbs from ×1.00 while the matatu drives, and the round ends at a random point when it breaks down. Cashing out before that pays your stake multiplied by the coefficient at that moment; waiting too long loses the bet.
Can I play Matatu Juu for free?
Yes. The demo runs on play money with no account and nothing to install, at the same 96.48% RTP and ×10,000 ceiling as the real-money version.
How does the dual bet panel work?
Two separate bets run on the same round. Each has its own stake, its own auto cash out target and its own automation settings, so you can hold one for a high multiplier while collecting the other early to cover the round.
Can the game crash immediately?
Yes. A round can end at ×1.00 before the multiplier has moved, which loses every bet placed on it. It is a normal outcome in this format rather than a fault, and it is why auto cash out targets set very low still lose sometimes.
