How to Play Chicken vs Zombies

The goal is to defeat as many zombies in a row as possible, then cash out before one gets through. Every victory unlocks the multiplier on that gravestone; being eaten forfeits the bet. The steps below cover a full round.

  1. Set up the bet

Bets run from 0.01 to 200, with the difficulty chosen on the same screen.

    • Easy - 30 steps, max win ×23.
    • Medium - 25 steps, max win ×2,457.
    • Hard - 22 steps, max win ×62,162.
    • Hardcore - 18 steps, max win ×3,608,855.
  2. Start the round

Placing the bet sends the chicken forward to face the first zombie in the row.

  3. Face each zombie

Every encounter resolves one of two ways:

    • The zombie is defeated - a sunflower appears and the multiplier shown on that gravestone is unlocked.
    • The chicken is eaten - the round ends and the bet is lost.
  4. Cash out or fight on

After every victory, you choose between two options:

    • Continue forward - risk the accumulated multiplier on the next gravestone.
    • Cash out - the current multiplier is applied to the stake and credited.
  5. Face the final boss

Clearing every zombie on the chosen difficulty brings up the Zombie Chicken at the end of the row. Defeating it pays that difficulty's maximum and resets the round.

Step 4 repeats until the chicken is eaten, you cash out, or the boss is reached.

Chicken vs Zombies FAQ

What is Chicken vs Zombies?

Chicken vs Zombies is a crash game from InOut Games. A chicken works down a row of zombies and each one defeated unlocks the win multiplier printed on that gravestone, while being eaten ends the round and takes the bet. A boss Zombie Chicken guards the maximum win at the end of the row.

Can I play Chicken vs Zombies for free?

Yes. The demo runs on play money with no registration or download, at the same 95.5% RTP and ×3,608,855 ceiling as the real-money version.

Is Chicken vs Zombies a reskin of another InOut game?

Yes. InOut runs several titles on this engine, including Cricket Road. Those share 95.5% RTP and the same step ladder — 30, 25, 22 and 18 steps paying ×23, ×2,457, ×62,162 and ×3,608,855, with the same four difficulty names and the same provably fair panel. What changes is the setting — Chicken vs Zombies uses a line of zombies instead of traffic. The odds are identical either way.

Does the boss fight work differently from the other steps?

No. The Zombie Chicken is the last step on the ladder rather than a separate mechanic, and clearing it pays the difficulty's maximum. It resolves on the same odds as every other step on that setting.
