How to Play Chicken Route
The goal is to cross as many lanes as possible, then cash out before a car arrives. Every safe step unlocks the multiplier on that lane; being hit forfeits the bet. The steps below cover a full round.
-
Set your risk level
Four levels set the length of the crossing and how steeply the multiplier climbs.
- Easy - 24 steps, max win ×24.
- Medium - 22 steps, max win ×2,500.
- Hard - 20 steps, max win ×65,000.
- Mad - 18 steps, max win ×1,000,000.
-
Set your bet amount
Bets run from 0.10 to 100. The stake is confirmed before the round starts.
-
Place the bet and take the first lane
The chicken steps into traffic. One of two things happens:
- Safe landing - the multiplier for that lane is unlocked.
- Hit by a car - the round ends and the bet is lost.
-
Cash out or continue
After every safe step, you choose between two options:
- Take another lane - risk everything accumulated for a larger multiplier.
- Cash out - the current multiplier is applied to the stake and credited.
Step 4 repeats until the chicken is hit, you cash out, or the far side is reached and the maximum for that risk level is paid.
Game Features
- Four risk levels
- Easy through Mad, moving the crossing from 24 lanes paying ×24 to 18 lanes paying ×1,000,000. The step count barely changes between them — what changes is how much each step is worth and how likely it is to end the round.
- Nickname
- A display name can be set for the global leaderboards.
- Bet history
- Rounds are listed with their results in the Bet History panel.
- Provably fair
- Round results can be verified from the fairness panel after the round has played.
Send it onto the road and watch out for the cars. Pick from 4 difficulty levels: the higher the level, the bigger the risk and the higher the multiplier.

Chicken Route FAQ
What is Chicken Route?
Chicken Route is a crash game from Turbo Games. A chicken crosses a road one lane at a time and each safe step raises the win multiplier, while being hit by a car ends the round and takes the bet. Four risk levels decide how many lanes there are and how quickly the multiplier climbs.
Can I play Chicken Route for free?
Yes. The demo runs on play money with no registration or download, at the same 96% RTP and ×1,000,000 ceiling as the real-money version.
Why does Mad mode have fewer steps but a much bigger prize?
Because the multiplier on each step is far larger and the chance of surviving it far smaller. Easy takes 24 lanes to reach ×24; Mad takes 18 to reach ×1,000,000. The 96% RTP is identical on both, so the difference is entirely in how that return is distributed — many small wins on Easy, almost none plus a rare enormous one on Mad.
Is Chicken Route a reskin of another Turbo game?
It shares its maths with Chicken Route Ro Co Co — 96% RTP and a ×1,000,000 ceiling on the top risk level. Ro Co Co is the reskin, with different artwork over the same engine. If you have played one, the odds on the other are identical.
