How to Play Chicken Road 2
The goal is to cross as many lanes as possible, then cash out before a car arrives. Every safe crossing unlocks the multiplier on that step; being hit forfeits the bet. The steps below cover a full round.
-
Configure the bet and difficulty
Bets run from 0.10 to 200 — a higher floor than most of InOut's later road games, which start at 0.01. Difficulty is set on the same screen.
- Easy - 30 steps, max win ×23.24.
- Medium - 25 steps, max win ×2,457.
- Hard - 22 steps, max win ×62,162.09.
- Hardcore - 18 steps, max win ×3,608,855.
Harder settings put more traffic on the road, so each step is less likely to survive even though fewer of them stand between you and the ceiling.
-
Press Play to start
The green Play button commits the bet and sends the chicken onto the first lane.
-
Cross or get hit
Each step resolves one of two ways:
- Safe crossing - the multiplier shown on that step is unlocked.
- Hit by a car - the round ends immediately and the bet is lost.
-
Cash out or risk another step
After every safe crossing, you choose between two options:
- Cross again - push on for the larger multiplier on the next step.
- Cash out - the current multiplier is credited immediately and the chicken returns to the start.
Step 4 repeats until the chicken is hit, you cash out, or the far side is reached and that difficulty's maximum is paid.

Chicken Road 2 FAQ
What is Chicken Road 2?
Chicken Road 2 is a crash game from InOut Games and the sequel to the original Chicken Road. A chicken crosses a busy highway one lane at a time and each safe step raises the win multiplier, while being hit by a car ends the round and takes the bet. Four risk modes decide how many steps there are and how fast the multiplier climbs.
Can I play Chicken Road 2 for free?
Yes. The demo runs on play money with no registration or download, at the same 95.5% RTP and ×3,608,855 ceiling as the real-money version.
Is Chicken Road 2 a reskin of another InOut game?
It is the sequel to Chicken Road, and the first title on the engine every later one uses rather than a copy of any of them. InOut runs several on it, Rabbit Road among them, sharing 95.5% RTP on the same ladder — 30, 25, 22 and 18 steps paying ×23, ×2,457, ×62,162 and ×3,608,855. Chicken Road 2 keeps the plain highway setting the later ones dress up, and starts at 0.10 where most of them start at 0.01. The original Chicken Road runs different maths — 98% RTP on a shorter ladder — so its figures do not apply here.
Why does the stake start at 0.10 here but 0.01 elsewhere?
Chicken Road 2 came first, and InOut lowered the floor on the titles that followed. The maths is unchanged — 95.5% and the same ladder — so the only practical difference is how small a bet you can place. At Hardcore odds that matters, because a lower floor makes a long losing run cheaper to sit through.
