Cheesy Road Classic by SmartSoft Gaming
A mouse works along a single row of trapped steps collecting cheese. Beyond the usual difficulty setting, the path itself can be shortened to 5, 10 or 15 steps — so the route to the max win is as short or as long as you want it.

How to Play Cheesy Road Classic
The goal is to move as far along the path as possible, then cash out before a trap triggers. Every safe step raises the multiplier; a trap forfeits the bet. The steps below cover a full round.
-
Place your bet
Bets run from 0.10 to 1,000. Set the stake in the bet field before starting the round.
-
Choose your difficulty
Three levels are available. Harder settings shorten the path and steepen the multiplier, at a far higher chance of springing a trap.
- Easy - 25 steps, max win ×20.
- Medium - 23 steps, max win ×1,000.
- Hard - 19 steps, max win ×10,000.
-
Choose your path length
The number of steps to the max win can also be set to 5, 10 or 15, independently of the difficulty. A shorter path packs the same multiplier range into fewer, larger jumps, which raises the volatility sharply.
-
Take the first step
Press the green Play arrow to move the mouse onto the first step. One of two things happens:
- Safe step - the multiplier shown above that step becomes your cash out value.
- Trap triggered - the round ends, the bet is lost and the mouse resets.
-
Cash out or take another step
After every safe step, you choose between two options:
- Take another step - risk the amount built up so far for a larger multiplier.
- Cash out - the win is credited to your balance and the round resets.
Step 5 repeats until a trap springs, you cash out, or you reach the end of the path and take the max win for the chosen difficulty.
Game Features
- Steps to max win
- The path length can be set to 5, 10 or 15 steps on top of the difficulty. Shortening it concentrates the same multiplier range into bigger jumps, so ×10,000 becomes reachable in five decisions rather than nineteen. Few games in this format let you tune the run length at all.
- Three difficulty modes
- Easy at 25 steps to ×20, Medium at 23 to ×1,000 and Hard at 19 to ×10,000, each with its own trap frequency.
- Autoplay
- Runs a set number of consecutive rounds at a fixed stake, collecting automatically at a step number you nominate.
- Turbo mode
- Speeds the animations up sharply for faster rounds.
- Light and dark mode
- The interface theme can be switched to suit the room.
- Global leaderboard
- Daily, weekly and monthly boards for the biggest wins and multipliers.
- Bet history
- Past rounds are listed with the multiplier, stake, win amount and timestamp.

Cheesy Road Classic FAQ
What is Cheesy Road Classic?
Cheesy Road Classic is a crash game from SmartSoft Gaming and the follow-up to Cheesy Road. A mouse moves along a single row of trapped steps collecting cheese, and each safe step raises the win multiplier. Springing a trap ends the round and takes the bet. You choose when to collect.
Can I play Cheesy Road Classic for free?
Yes. The demo loads with virtual credits and needs no registration, deposit or download, running at the same 97% RTP and ×10,000 ceiling as the real-money game.
What does the steps to max win setting do?
It changes how many steps stand between you and the maximum, independently of the difficulty — 5, 10 or 15. The multiplier range stays the same, so a shorter path means much larger jumps per step and a much higher chance of hitting a trap on the way. It is the fastest route to ×10,000 and also the least likely to survive.
How is it different from the original Cheesy Road?
Cheesy Road Classic runs a single row of progressive multipliers rather than the original's wider board, and adds the configurable path length. The cash out decision after every step is the same.
